An Early Series One RS Turbo Being meticulously restored by the one and only Phill Botley (aptly nicknames Phil PhabRikationz)
Right, No dicking about.. Taking it right from the very beginning..
Where to start, Basically my brother owned this car for about 4 or 5 years. he bought the car of a guy who had damaged both front corners, my brother had every intention of getting the car back on the road so he rather excitedly gave the car to a mate who proceeded to bodge the car for him.. the work the mate done for him has caused me nothing but grief and has been the main cause for most of the front end work on this car..
Lets just say that if i ever meet this ''mate'' i will attach him to a jig and pull him in areas he never knew he had lol..
So.. I decided that enough was enough and took it off my brothers hands with the intention of restoring the car as any S1 should..
After many months sourcing panels etc, I tracked down the following genuine Ford parts.. Bonnet, front panel, both front wings, both front chassis legs, both bonnet hinges and a os door.. And on the rear.. Both rear 1/4 panels & a rear panel..
The following were sourced as pattern items, Both hinge panels, front crossmember, scuttle panel and on the rear, both inner wheel arches..
Anyway enough of the chit chat and on to the pics..
These are the only pics i have proir to cutting off the front end panels.. I'm still bugging my brother for some pic's that he says he has..

The next batch of pics are smaller i'm afraid as i kept forgetting to take my camera to work so had to rely on a really old camera phone..
